problem Obtaining Hextec Chests/Keys

The problem that i have come across is quite basic, i play a very few amount of champs that i like this poses a problem with obtaining chests. to date i have 25 keys left over in my loot. Not Fragments, KEYS!!! but i have 0 chests. the problem is that i have to wait another season to get another chest. They have put a refresh limit on key fragments, but not chests, Do you think riot would be able to have your particular champion's ability to obtain a chest Reset every 1-2 weeks? even 3-4 weeks would be fine.. but having to wait a whole season is just ridiculous Ofc i could just play a new champ.. but obtaining a S rank in champs i dont like Is Just not FUN.. who wants to spend Hours Farming champs for Chests.. when its not enjoyable.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

Part of the point of chests is to incentivize people to try out new champs and expand their pool, finding more champs they do like in the process.

With like 130+ champs, you don't even need to play half of them, and thats assuming you actually are keen on maxing out every possible chest in a season. You've got a full week per chest per champ on average, so it's not like you need to spend hours everyday learning a new champ. Just once a week maybe try out something new, and if it resonates at all stick with it for your chest, and if not try something else. I've had champs that sounded really good on paper but in practice were kinda meh for me to play, and champs that sounded really meh but after getting them in ARAM or similar and being 'forced' to play them I actually found them pretty fun.

And of course chests/keys are all just bonus free stuff anyway. If you really only play a handful of champs, than the majority of time the bonus free stuff won't even be useful for you, since theres no point in skins for champs you don't play/own, and you're statisically much more likely to get them for champs you don't play if you don't play very many.

I think the Idea was to have people try out new champions. The system is their to encourage you to try new champions, not to master the same ones over and over again. Besides, you only get one chest a week, and their are 52 weeks in a year, that's not even half the champion pool.

I also struggle to sympathize because I have the exact opposite problem. I currently have 7 chests in reserve and no keys or fragments. Though the key fragments also serve a purpose. I'm suppose to play more often, and try to win more games. So I really won't expect too much from Riot's part. Though I could use a little transparency in how many frags are still available to earn.
