Graves change Idea

Oh my gosh, I think I may be a genius. I was playing against the abomination that is a ranged drain tank.... and then it hit me! Make. Graves. Melee.

Alright, alright, hang on. Just let me explain this.

Graves has a mid ranged harass ability that works best at close ranges. He has a mid-ranged disruption CC which is good for helping him play against ganks. He has a stat steroids/minor mobility. Finally he has a long range nuke. Except for the ult, this could easily describe a melee fighter. So how do we go about doing this? Keep his auto attacks very similar, but reduce his range.

So Graves has a shotgun, which are not known for their inaccuracy at long range. (Buckshot anyway.) So why is he still a ranged champion? (Logic too strong for league tbh) So here's what we do. The auto's will still split into 6 shots or whatever, like they currently do. They will also go as far as they currently do, so like Azir, he can hit one target and possibly hit something that would be otherwise out of range. This will keep his Identity as a jungler and a tower pusher, while helping lessen his overall bullying and brute strength, while also giving him a more meaningful take-away. Yes I recognize his current 2 in the cartridge limitation, and I propose that we give him 3 shells passively, while also removing the extra shot from his E.

Just a little creativity from me to you. Like many of y'all, I'm just fed up with the irritation that is Graves, and I'd like to add so real meaningful counterplay.
