WHY THE HELL ARE SMURFS EVEN IN TEAM BUILDER.

Ok, I know that there might be more threads about this, but REALLY, why are silvers, golds, and above even in team builder? I am super pissed off. All this MMR crap about matchmaking and how team builder is a balanced enviroment, Is TOTALLY untrue. I now have to look at the stats of every lane opponent to see if they are a ranked player, otherwise, immediately when I enter the game people just claim up front, whether on my team or not, IM A SMURF GG WORSHIP ME!

This really ruins the experience. Once you hit level 30, there should be a tab saying that you will get reduced IP/XP from playing team builder....

Can Riot give reasoning?

What are you saying that cause I'M GOLD I shouldn't be using team builder? You know, I like being able to choose a champion, role/lane without people whining every once in awhile.

Team builder is about as casual as you can get. Why shouldn't everyone be allowed to play it?

What I would like to know is why don't they assign benchmark MMR's to ranked divisions in the other modes? I mean, if you are a Gold player, saying you are MMR X when you start this other game mode seems like it would make sense, rather than saying you are the same MMR as someone who has never tried ranked doing the mode as well.

Now, if you have been using the mode enough and winning enough to be put in that bracket...seems fair.

Kind of wondering out loud as I see these complaints a lot on these forums, and it seems like a simple and reasonable change. The guy who posted the picture last night of his Bronze team vs 2 Master ranked players was just 0.o from a skill-balance standpoint.

Do you know what a smurf is?

If the player is ranked, they likely aren't smurfing. A smurf is an account made with the intent of facing low level players to ruin them.

I'm silver 3 and play team builder all the time because I like trying new champs with friends.

No malicious intent, nor am I intentionally trying to ruin unranked players.

Tl;Dr- don't force ranked players to make more smurf accounts just to play with friends.
