I get that zilean is a decent mid champ with the right team comp and has seen LCS play so this isnt a shameless appeal to buff him. I play zilean as a support a lot and there are two things about his kit that in the state of the game, dont make sense. First, his passive's 10 sec out of combat cooldown. When supporting, having to wait 10 seconds to apply his passive to an ally is a very long time, especially in early laning. often times because of the 10 second cooldown i will miss using his passive and have to wait for the next level. second, i havent checked but im pretty sure zilean's ult is one of the few, if not the only ult that still hasnt been normalized to cost 100 mana. again, in early laning especially, having his ult cost more than 100 mana actually makes a big difference.

agreed, 10 seconds out of combat is pretty illusionary, especially at lvl 1 to 2, it almost never happens - and even if you get the chance to start the channel, the timing is so tight that the teammate you try to level up will almost always level up normally DURING THE CHANNEL.

of course, this will cancel the channel and no xp will be given. additionally, it really feels like Zilean gets put into combat randomly, often my mobility boots act like they werent in combat, but the passive cant be used, it seems bugged
