Leaver Penalties

Hello All,

Been playing since beta so I have seen it all. A note to Riot, I am not a leaver, have never been a leaver and can only remember once upon a time I lost internet in a storm that caused me to miss a game.
I do however have client crashes every once in a blue moon and have had some more commonly the past few weeks. If you could see the logs EVERY SINGLE TIME I have had a leaver penalty it is because my client crashed and had to repair game files. I am in the country and on a DSL connection which heavily sucks and it takes my computer a fair bit of time to repair and reload. Far longer than avoiding the early game surrender. I also never seem to actually have damaged files.

Now I have a 10 minute penalty because your client keeps crashing and I can't seem to figure out why it keeps doing it. I would hope a suggestion of determining whether it is an actual leaver issue could be a little more stringent. Can't you tell if the client goes from a game loading to bug splat to a file check and maybe it wasn't me leaving the game and getting punished? As it stands now, I NEVER leave games and I am having a client problem and you are punishing me for it.
