Talon Thoughts

With the recent nerf of removing the silence on his cutthroat, I don't know why riot didnt compensate for some factor. Talon is never played now, i understand the silence was good but how about a root for 0.5 seconds instead of a 99% slow. I know the reasons behind this but seriously...

He does have potential to do burst damage but I think with that being said and his abilities at their current stage in the game, his cutthroat should apply his basic attack. This isnt a HUGE buff but its noticeable enough to help his game play. Right now cutthroat just tickles anyone. Why not make it scary for him to jump on you with cutthroat? I don't think it should scale with AD, just make it apply his basic attack.

Thoughts?

I don't really understand the reasoning behind taking away the silence in the first place. He only has about 2 seconds to unload dmg on a target in teamfights before he gets deleted by the enemy team.

Meanwhile Riven is laid out on a recliner enjoying a mana free dash-shield-stun-chop-dash-chop-dash-knockup-execute. (All aoe of course)

I'll never really understand Riot's "balancing"sometimes.

I disagree that her dmg takes "much longer"to go out. She farts out dmg while having mobility and utility in every button press. Meanwhile her knockup, stun, and shield gives her that extra second to access what to do next. And all of that while never worrying a bit about mana cost.

Talon used to have that 1 extra second to squeak out an extra AA or two before having to ult out and hide for the next 50 seconds. Now any mage can just warm up their zhonyas hotkey whenever Talon is near.

I'm not saying Talon is worthless or anything, but I just don't understand the reasoning of taking away a 1 second advantage from one champ, and never looking twice at one that has ~7.

Talon still has a win rate well over 50%, so the endless whining is getting tiresome.

I'd hardly consider 53-54% as WELL over 50%.

Besides, an overall winrate shouldn't be the end all be all of why a buff/nerf takes place. Right now, Yasuo has around a 46% winrate. That's within the same range of 50% that you consider Talon is over. Does that warrant a buff for Yasuo?

What do you mean?

Cutthroat doing 100% Total AD on hit? Or Cutthroat giving an AA reset? Or Cutthroat allowing Talon to get an AA in quickly after it's cast?

Dude its simple. make his E have charges like Akalis Ult. Talon is the only melee mid laner with ONLY ONE gap closer. he is just way to risky now. When he E's to his enemy he is probably gonna die or kil his target. you cant harass with it. to much mana and the fact that you have to dodge every single skillshot the moment you try to back off is a chore. If he could cast E twice he could for example E to his enemy then Q then E to an enemy minion away from your target and W him so that he cant follow you. like fizz that can Q in auto attack and E out. or leblanc who Q you and then W in and W out again.
