Can the "pre" champion select screen drop away after we have chosen?

It seems very annoying to stay up on your screen after you have chosen the champion that you "want/plan" to play. If it could drop off screen like it does when you actually choose the champion, it would look a lot better and less cluttered. A simple drop down with a "done" button would look great. @Riot think about doing this?
