New Thoughtful Suggestions on Recognition for Supports in the New World (Simple ideas)

Dear Riot Team - I realize this is an OLD challenge, and maybe I may not have something new to add, but I'd like to try.

I've been playing league for a very long time. I remember the old minon-Heimer bug when Heimerdinger could actually dam off minion waves until releasing them into an unstoppable flood.

A wild and wonderful era of LOL. Raw, intense, and while admittedly an astonishing amount of work and headaches, more than memorable and fun. I remember when a single champion could do impossible, and even unfair things given someone of great technical skill with their champion.

But most of all, I've studied, heard and listened to a lot of supports and noticed a few things that have withstood the test of time.

I myself am a jungle player, which while in theory is a kind of support role in a sense, is not at all like the traditional one, and I've seen how teams live and die by a powerful support player. But that tale will only last until maybe the next game.

Could there be scripts based solely on the roles each summoner has been assigned each game?

If possible, could there be an aura or localized script set on anyone in the support role which detects a teammate losing health from an attack or an effect (i.e. Teemo traps) and then an interaction which causes the damaged teammate to not fall under a health percent threshold? Say 25%?

What about a different localized/aura detection script on the support role player's champion which detects if any enemy champion in the immediate area suffers a snare, slow, etc. from the support role champion and then becomes a kill?

Or if a nearby teammate has been targeted by a single target ultimate, skillshot, etc. but instead detects the proximity of the support champion or a collision of said ultimate, skillshot, etc. instead of the intended original target and records the event. (in debugging minions might get points this way xD).

I emphasize "support role champion" because not all support characters are used to play support - people will at times use a more damaging or unconventional champion because they dislike not having damage output, but can still peel and protect.

It may not be possible to find a way to recognize ALL support actions, but I hope that at least these three may in fact prove conceptually simple enough that scripting them might actually be feasible.

I have zero illusions about this being easy, I realize the immense complexity, interactions and work that goes into scripting, testing and debugging, but maybe, just MAYBE, there's a way for supports to finally have a record to show how selfless, protective, and skilled they are at ensuring their teammates survive to tell the tale of the kill their support gave them.

Because not everyone, not even a majority, will take note of just how hard their support played that round, or how selflessly their support drained all their own resources, then died, just so their teammate did not.

I've had my life and non-death protected by surprise arrivals or actions of a support teammate, given them an honor after, only to realize they will never have a record as to *why* - even with the new honor system, all they might get is a "GG" honor - "you were fun to play with."

Not specific enough.

In this new world coming Nov. 2017, I truly hope that even just a little bit more, people can finally see a little "sparkle" of how their supports shine.

Be well everyone,
