I'm just curious about akali rework is it gonna come season 8 or the next season ( Aatrox is sitting on a good spot for now but akali really need that rework) it feels bad going all or nothing and its been 2 years no skin for akali you show the love for chogath where's the love for akali that's so disapoiting Riot
Akali is the next VGU after Aatrox. Based on how frequently they've been updating and releasing champs Akali should get teased in July and be released in august. This is just an educated guess though, so i could be wrong.
I had talked to a riot employee a few days ago asking a similar question. Mostly to ask if they were reworking the champions in alphabetical order, but Akali is the next champ to be reworked. If I were to guess I’d say we would see her teased or a trailer for her within a month or so. The latest would be August in my opinion. They’ve been pumping out reworks and champions left and right, so either they release a new one before Akali or she’s going to be next. Especially since she’s been in development for quite a few months. Hope that helps!
