Shields not getting the recognition they deserve in post game stats.

With the new update to the end game stats I was hoping that supports like Janna and Lulu and so many other shielding supports would stand out. It turns out the self mitigating stat only recognizes tanks and those who take the brunt of the blow. It would be nice to see a stat the shows how much your shielding on other players was. Any thoughts on when this might be implemented if at all?
