I'm actually surprised I made it to level 30

Like, I started in season 5 about last year around this time and it took me a good month or two to get to level 30 and even then it took me a while to actually pvp.

But the thing is, I had prior knowledge of this game, I had watched Anklespankin and other youtubers play league for a long time but never got around to it. I only got into MOBAS because I played WoW for 5 years then got an alpha invite to HoTS, played that for about a year got bored and switched to League. So when I got into league, I wasn't a complete noob and already knew about last hitting and gold and a majority of items. I even knew I wanted my main to be Ahri the moment I found out about her lore and playstyle 2 years prior.

But then I tried to get a couple friends into this game to have them play with me, but they just could not grasp it as easily. They were overwhelmed with the amount of Champions and I though about it and it actually would take so long for them to get to level 30 and even be able to play normals with me. It really sucks :(. Luckily Overwatch came along and they grasped that super easily and now me and my friends away at college can keep in touch that way.

It sucks though, since I love this game so much but there is no way I could ever introduce anyone into it. The only way I ever meet people in this game is if I meet someone else who has been playing for a while. Hopefully one day they can make it an easier experience.
