My entire experience over 11 games of Talon in 2 days. Can I send my tears to the Balance Team?
Get fed in every Talon game but one cause I sucked it was 7 wins 4 loses cause something something other lanes. Anyway I die to point and clicks I can't outplay while it takes me 3-4 seconds to kill anyone. I hit my full combo to kill vayne. Oh she flashed to creeps and auto'd so my bleed couldn't kill her. Well she's at full hp now and I'm at less than half of mine but hey counterplay. I actually lose a lot of first blood trades because my enemy is playing a non assassin so their damage is instant but mine is a bleed so fuck me right? Why does my ult do less damage than my autos at rank 2 and 3? Hello?
Why didn't I just become an adc main when riot did the assassin rework or hell a morde main I'd get so many upvotes I played Tristana and a Zed tried to kill me. I stood still, got hit with the full combo, ulted him and auto'd him to death before the mark popped then lifesteal'd to full hp. What could he have done about it? Hell if I know he hit me with his full combo + ignite but he loses because I clicked on him. Counterplay is important though.
Exhaust is fun and interesting!
Even if I finally get my kill window which takes about 15 rakes because people rarely get caught by the 2nd or me having to jump 5 walls and wait for people to be too extended they can hit a button and I'm back to square one. If they don't surrender I just become a liability because any CC kills me and there is no way in fuck i'm touching any squishy once they group up worse the squishy may just kill me because counterplay is a one way street. My last game I thought why not build a mercurials to with edge of night? Nah didnt make much difference I still trade 1 for one because even if I deal with the CC I can't deal with the point and click damage that kills me just as fast as I kill them.
Playing tristana I got to remember what it meant to be strong while fed. To get multikills because my champion archetype is favored by riot so I guess constant crits that heal me is fine especially from safety.
Then I get to come to boards and read that this is fine because less than .5% of talon's playerbase is doing really well on him! Well hey maybe riot has something to say about it. Oh they think it's fine too. Well better grab my good friend Clorox and queue for another game where a fizz can max range ult me and have it not matter because a support built locket and redemption and naturally has exhaust. Should I just apologize to my team when I lock in Talon because I feel like that is the right thing to do since I'm essentially depriving them of a good champion from select while also putting them on a like 10 minute time limit where if I don't become monstrously fed I am useless and if I do get monstrously fed I'm average.
