Can we please have the option to dust skin shards for blue essence?

I like skin shards, really, I do. I love seeingthem when I open a chest. It was only recently though that I noticed my Battlecast Prime Cho'gath skin shard would only dust for 395 essence. Excuse me? Nevermind that I already own the skin because I paid full price for it, but seriously? 395? While the skin shard still requires 1500 something to unlock? That means I would have to dust roughly 4 Legendary skin shards if I wanted to unlock it. Forget that, Can I just dust it for Blue Essence for it's full orange dust value please? At least then I can begin to make up for how much Blue essence I don't earn from leveling up.
