Support Activization

I enjoy playing many different support Champions. I like Thresh, I love Braum, I like most of the mage "supports" (cause who says supports can't deal the most damage in the game). What I don't like is having an active on almost every one of my items. I've had games where I think, wow a Randuins would be great, but i can't juggle that active between... Face of the Mountian, Redemption, Locket, Flash, Exhaust, and Four other Champion abilities.

Like geez how many fingers and how much awareness are supports supposed to have?

I've gone to just slapping all the shields and heal item buttons at the beginning of fights like a fire and forget rocket that I hope stops the brunt of the enemies burst so I can focus on peeling for my carries that may or may not have died before the heal from Redemption went off.

I think it would be nice if their were more support items/ tank support items without actives on them. No everyone is secretly an octopus.
