I win 7 out of 10 games and get placed in bronze 5 like wtf league, everyone starts a rank lower then wtf is the point in being in placements then????? that is just plain bs and you need to fix it, i worked my ass off to win those 7 games and then im just placed at the bottom of the barrel, with no hope of getting out, like are you kidding me, wtf is this system where you get placed one rank lower, why have placements if you just gonna do that, there isnt a point, we dont get to go to new heights, we get placed one rank lower for no reason at all, please tell me why this is a thing RIOT please?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

well you do have practically an entire year to get out........ I will admit placement games are a waste of time but everyone drops in rank from prior season.

"no hope of getting out". With that attitude you won't. Focus on improving and the grind and you will get out. Hell I was sad dropping from gold 3 to bronze 1 but its the start of the season and I knew I would drop in rank and have to grind. So that's all I am doing. I am not even doing well and I still climbed out of bronze since we all have inflated mmr to start the season. Win 70% of your games like you did in placements to start and you will quickly jump to bronze 3/4 and can work your way up from there.

I mean you were silver 4 last season. Dropping 6 divisions really isn't as crazy.

The only thing placements are for is determining how much LP you gain right out of placements. Only the first 2 or 3 games impact your placement.

Where did you expect to be placed ?

Also I don't see what the big deal is. I was placed Bronze 5 too when I completed placements a few days ago and I've already climbed to Bronze 3 with relative ease. If you're better than Bronze you will get out. No big deal.

i never really played ranked. I tried playing ranked this preseason to see how difficult it was but i was surprised by how easy it was. I easily carried 12 games straight and got in silver without a problem. Even with a dc or a 0 8 0 illaoi in 13min. If you cant get out of bronze it is your problem and not everyone elses
