Wolf's Frenzy

I'm always curious about what board to put this under because it is a concept about an existing champion's ability.

Basically, I'm just wondering what others think of this as a slight change to Kindred's Wolf's Frenzy ability. Personally I think it could actually have a fairly big impact.

Currently, when Kindred's W is activated, Wolf claims a territory of 800 units surrounding Lamb's model. He is able to move independently within this territory and will attack targets within this territory based on a priority for up to 8.5 seconds. While Lamb is within this circle the cooldown on her Q is decreased. If she leaves the circle the cooldown on her Q is no longer decreased and Wolf immediately returns to her.

This last part is something I am curious about changing.

What if Wolf did not immediately return to Lamb when she leaves the territory? I still agree that the cooldown mechanic should be cancelled after she leaves the territory, but If wolf were to continue to attack enemies within this territory, it would help to give him a greater presence in the dynamic of Kindred. Right now he feels very much like a part of an ability, and not half of a champion.

But what would this do for their strength. My initial thoughts on this is that it would turn this into more of a harassment/zoning ability, or even a disengage. Kindred (both of them) jump forward aggressively, Wolf claims and guards his territory, and Lamb jumps back to safety.

It could be too strong to have it still last the full duration if they are separated. Maybe it would shorten the remaining duration instead?

Please let me know your thoughts on this.
