Dear Rito, I Miss My Island

I took a break from league around that beginning-mid of season 5 when the tank and bruiser items were getting reworked, and I'm just now getting back into playing the game. The new queue up system where you pick your primary and secondary roles is a great implement in the system, but it is also ruining my game experience currently. I have read that no matter what you will get one of the two roles that you so choose, mine being primary: top, and secondary: support. I love support I really do, but I haven't been able to play my main role practically at all since I came back. Is there a way to remedy this at all? I'm just concerned that I will never make it back to my island at all, where my lover Wilson silently awaits.

edit: Some of you might say something about the fact that I chose support as secondary, which is the reason I keep getting that role. Now this reflects a problem with the system and the community, nobody wants to play this role making somebody take that shot in the mouth and play support even if they don't want to. I do like the role, however, the system should be able to tell that I haven't played a single game as my primary in 5-10 games and should make me wait longer or something to find a game, so that I can play top for once.
