tips for getting gout of bronze? (for anyone who doesnt climb that fast)
does anyone have tips for getting out of bronze? (not just for me)
does anyone have tips for getting out of bronze? (not just for me)
In general, there are a few things that I see a lot of bronze players do that is a horrible practice, and could very well be holding them back.
First is priorities. A lot of players in bronze don't have their priorities in the correct order for having a good game. Your priorities should be as follows:
Not Dying Taking Towers/Inhibs Taking Small Objectives (Dragon/Baron/Rift Herald) CS (replace this with gold item procs for support) Kills
For a brief explanation:
Dying is bad. I shouldn't have to say that, but a lot of people prioritize things over not dying (such as saying, if I get a kill, it's worth it, right?). At some levels of play, it is acceptable to die in order to take Towers or Inhibitors, but very rarely. In bronze, You want a score like 2-0-x rather than 5-4-x. If you're dead, you aren't pressuring objectives, you're not getting cs (which is your actual main source of income), you're not helping your team, and what you are doing when you die is giving your enemy gold. As someone in bronze, your priority should be self-preservation at all times.
Towers are the next most important thing in the game; they are a literal measure of how close you are to winning the game. I can't tell you how many people tower dive retreating enemies instead of taking the tower. While I kill nets you more gold, taking a tower gets you closer to an inhibitor, or the nexus. You can theoretically win the game independent of how many kills either team has.
Small objectives are important, because they help everyone on your team take towers/inhibs, or allows a player to put pressure in multiple locations (in the case of Rift Herald Buff). If they have to spit their forces to stop your top lane from taking a tower, they aren't going in full to defend the tower the rest of your team is going for.
CS is incredibly important. I cannot stress that enough. Near-perfect last hitting will catapult you through bronze. When I have a CS lead on my opponent, they almost always lose, or require assistance from the jungler. If the jungler has to waste his time in your lane (remember, not dying is your number 1 priority) they aren't farming, they aren't getting resources out of ganking you, and they're not attacking other lanes that may be better for ganking.
Kills are last; only get them if they fall into your lap, or it is very low risk. Fon't go diving someone unless you know where the jungler is (or most likely is; if they just ganked bot, you have some time before they can show up) and you know for a fact that your enemy laner violated one of these rules (hint, it's prioritizing "not dying" above something else).
I know it's a lot easier said than done, but these tips will be very helpful to keep in mind. Throw in some healthy warding practices, a little know-how, and an easy-to-play champion, you'll rise through the ranks.
Just to give you an idea, here's a short list of champions that I don't recommend playing in Bronze. Whether you like it or not, you're still learning the game at this level of play. So am I. That's why I don't pick any of these champions; since their mechanics are so difficult to learn, you aren't focusing on cs, you aren't focusing on learning about the game, you're focusing on learning that champion and making that champions kit do what you want it to.

Remember, there are some champions that I may have missed, but generally speaking, these champions are too complicated for people who don't fully understand league of legends at the level of, say, someone in high Gold (i.e. Gold II, Gold I). They have things that make them more difficult than others, such as being very feast or famine, being complicated mecheanically, or are good because they use higher level concepts that you probably haven't heard of, that only people in like... Diamond can do very consistently, and know when to use this concept. The biggest offender of this last point:
^yeah, don't play this guy in bronze. He seems simple, but the reason he's good is totally different from what you're thinking.
I hope this helps. We all need a hand sometimes. Just remember, some of your losses in ranked won't be your fault, and recognize if you are getting frustrated. If you're like me, you'll tell yourself it wasn't your fault, that you aren't angry, and queue again, but deep inside you have a seething ball of rage that makes you lose sight of your priorities, and go into "kill mode." <- Don't do this. This is the kind of shit that gets you to go from Bronze I, on the cusp of silver, to Bronze V with people who should really stop playing this game.
I'd say one of the main things you can do is to focus on what YOU can control, not on your teammates. For example: when a teamfight goes poorly, instead of blaming your supp for not peeling your ADC, think of every possible thing YOU could have done better. No amount of criticism is going to make your teammates perform better. Just focus on recognizing YOUR mistakes and what you could've done better rather than focusing on what your teammates did wrong.
wait for season 7 this season sucks and is heavy as fuck for every players
Something that's slowly working for me - only one ranked game a night (the first one). Never never on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
it's actually yielding really strong results.
play any currently broken champion. which for the most part are jungle devourer champs
