Alright, follow me on this... There are only a finite amount of moves you can make in LoL - whether that be moving your champ, casting abilities, and so on. So then, if there is only a finite amount of moves you can make, then there is always a way to map out those moves based on your opponents moves to secure victory. Because only a "finite" amount of clicks can theoretically lead to victory. Its similar to chess... you are restricted in what you can do, meaning everything that you can do can be carefully mapped out. I am working on an engine that does just this... calculates your opponents/allies' moves, and adjusts/recommends what your next move should be. The philosophy behind this is that every move anyone makes has a direct counter (positioning, abilities, etc.) The only fact that makes this plausible is such: You can only click so many times during any given match, you can only use so many abilities, and so on.

The difference between this and chess, which is an actual game you can perfect (assuming that you're a prodigy genius with eidetic memory) is that you don't actually see every move your opponent makes.

If you could play with the fog of war turned off, you could probably pull it off. The only problem is once again, unlike chess, you play against five people, with five people. So you would also have to account for the changes in the enemies strategy, adversely to your own. And you would have to account for the changes in your team strategy, complimentary to your own.

So in short, if you had a 1v1, on murder bridge, looked at every item and every champion, and every combination, down to the last click, you might be able to do it.

Assuming of course, your clicks are consistently on point and flawless, because there are people like doublelift and fabbbyyyyy out there.

Incorrect - there is no finite amount of moves that win the game. The isn't even a finite amount of moves that insure you play the best you can. The best move can be unknown to you. Also your best moves change based on what enemy and allies do which are most likely not playing the best or doing the smartest things. So in essence your wall of text isn't saying anything that this simple sentence isn't saying. "Improve your own play and you will win more games" - and while this is true - you'd be surprised how many games you can lose while playing well, or playing great.

There is no way to ensure you win 100% of your games because you cannot control the actions and decisions made by the 4 other people on your team. This is not a game in which you can account for everything and act and react accordingly. LoL requires cooperation, coordination, understanding, and compromise between people to optimize your chance of success. And even if you make the best possible decision in a given situation, there is always the possibility of something unexpected occurring that completely turns a favorable situation into an unfavorable one for your team.

You are right about one thing. You are limited in what you can accomplish on your own, but not for the reasons you stated. You are limited by the champion you choose to employ in each game because it is up to you to optimize their core strengths to make yourself as much of a positive asset for your team as possible. Whatever role you play, either by choice or simply because you were last pick, is what determines what you can and cannot accomplish.

You cannot solely guarantee victory for yourself even if you manage to play your favorite role with your favorite champion in every single game you play. You cannot because you are not the master of your own destiny in LoL. You are nothing more than a component in a living machine that requires all its parts to work in unison to achieve your objective. When you've learned to look past yourself and recognize that you are a part of something greater than yourself and begin to recognize and respect your allies for their presence, contributions, and sacrifices, you will greatly increase your success rate.

Chess can't even be reasonably solved with modern computers and LoL has way more options at any given time and way less information about your opponents' moves yet you think you can solve it?
