A little about smack talk

I have been playing ranked for a long time now, like most of you out there. I still find it extremely painful at times to play. There are so many trolls, and people who dc (because of Riots servers/code), and some just simply afk on purpose.

I have seen some of the same people do this, over, and over, even after being reported. I get pissed, and I say something, so now I get chat banned, or a 3 day suspension. Imagine if the NBA team had no subs, and one of the players just said, "F this, i'm out". They are both consider sports (and E-Sports, are now recognized). That is the same concept here, but obviously you can't fine the guy, or whoop his butt since he isn't physically there. But making comments towards it, and then getting busted for that is stupid.

If people play competitive games, expect smack talk. If you don't, then you have no clue what sports are like in the real world. On the courts, and fields, there is all kind of trash talking, and I mean some serious trash talking. I think Riot needs to re-look at what is considered okay, and what isn't, because right now, the way I see it is, the bad people are getting away with murder, and the good ones are getting screwed for being upset about it.

This is just my opinion, and some my agree, and others may not. Either way, please don't trash talk, and be constructive if you have an opinion.

Except this isn't sports. It's a video game. And Riot has determined that they want the atmosphere to be fun, inviting, and friendly. Yes, that is absurdly unrealistic, but that's beside the point. Bear in mind the big difference here; players in RL sports games trash talk by VOICE. They get excited and pumped up and yell stuff. We get that. It's normal. But in LoL, in game chat is TEXT based. If you get excited and yell "F*** YOU TEEMO, EAT MY Q AND DIE" at your computer, no one cares. But by pulling up allchat and typing it, you have moved to something equivalent to a sports player getting up in another player's face and "smack talking". Which I believe is considered to be highly immature and generally looked down on.

I've done things both ways, and i can honestly say its better to be a dick. Yes, I've been literally commended almost every game, and then Ive been reported every game.

Heres the thing. ITs a competition, and some people are less skilled than others. Than there are those that are noticeably not even on the same level. Go play normal draft if you can't handle people saying you are trash. Most of the time, you are trash, so have some humility, and learn your place.

I trash talk to get in the zone, that im better than the rest. my quick comments.
