So I have a question. Why is it that only caster AD champions run armor pen runes and not adcs as well? I would think it would give you more damage output and scale better but honestly I couldnt say if that has any accuracy. So can anyone break this down for me so I can better understand the game.
I never understood the point of armor pen runes either, would appreciate it if someone could explain the micro math.
I'm fairly certain that more autos give you more net damage, plus the AS is way better for objectives.
I run armor pen runes on Kalista because they scale better than AD on her because of her passive and build path.
So its not practical for say an adc to have armor pen reds because they dont scale well into the late game? I would have figured it would be the opposite. Even more so now that last whisper only negates bonus armor.
