An example of the support abuse, cool stories bro by Weasel

So... I que up as support/top today, and our comp looks decent, the ADC is going back and forth undecided between Cait and Draven (note they were last pick on our side).

I notice that the enemy ADC is going to be Jhin. I advise that "Draven my not be very good vs Jhin." They then say "That makes me want to get him even more now."

Iv locked in Karma as second pick on our side, so thats the state of things

Im thinking; great this guy is a clown or a dumbass. I try not to seem like he needs to "show me" so I go with "Well if you think youre really good with Draven and you can take him." Now before he has to pick, a Zyra was locked in... BUT, before I can say DONT DRAVEN he switches form Cait... yeah could have had Cait, anyway; He locks in Draven.

So things start bad I lag out leashing gromp, and stay to last hit it... though to be fair the jg was just running back and forth pinging me instead of trying to kill it himself. I appologize for lagging out (which our Malphite jg actualy DCs 4 minutes in and again at 10 minutes... so IDK Rito servers please). Its ok, the enemy Atrox jg dies invading, Mid and me take him down I get first blood not really trying, just didnt want him getting away.

So back down to bot... Draven is pushing REALLY hard, but by the time that Zyra and Jhin hit level 3, they go ham on his ass. Every axe catch Zyra W, E, W, Q combos him, and Jhin W, Qs him for more snare. Every time this happens Draven bitches me out like... I can do something about it, he keeps saying "you have full mana" and I say "I have cooldowns too." He just.. IDK, he wants me to basically unsnare him... and I cant.

They destroy him, every axe catch he gets snared by Zyra, and re-snared by Jhin. Feeds his ass off, complains he has no help form support, calls me a troll ask for me to be reported in all chat several times.

End stats were: Him 3/13/6 Me 5/5/5

This fucker told me to go back to bots... I told him "I TOLD YOU NOT TO PICK DRAVEN VS JHIN!" This assclown thinks I was the problem in the lane, and issued forth a ton of diarrhea nonsense directed at me for... He doesnt even know, at one point in his diatribe of attacks in all chat I wrote in all chat "what is it Im supposed to do Draven, detail for us HOW Im supposed to help you?"

So when confronted with reality, asking for how Im supposed to unfuck his feeding ass, Im muted.. which is good because he shut the fuck up too after that. After a small novel of verbal bashing, he mutes me...

At the post game lobby he simple types "gg karma" and leaves before anyone can tell his deluded ass that hes a feeding fucktard and I wasnt the problem.

Why type all this?

This isnt the only game Iv had this shit happen in, Im not even the support half the time it happens. I see just utter bullshit dumped on supports for the blatant misplays of ADCs and Jg players alike. There ARE bad supports in the game, dont get me wrong, but from the amount of harassment they get, you would think there are NO good supports.

This isnt the only reason we dont have enough supports in the game, or why when you select fill, you get support 14 out of 15 games. There are other reasons. Still this is a problem that needs to start getting sorted out regardless of the support shortage in the game. Start reporting tilted ADCs that go on "OMG support stole kills, Support is trolling, WTF support why for u let me die, REPORT the support" so that maybe they will get over themselves. We cant ask them to take responsibility for them fucking up, that wont ever happen, but maybe some chat restrictions with straighten up their attitude when they dont think the support is babysitting them properly.

I know its not every ADC that behaves this way, but enough do that if people want lower que times not waiting on supports, then one step is to punish the people verbally abusing them. Im not worried about me so much, I have a mute button and the dumb shit thrown at me by dumber people on the interwebz isnt a threat to me, but for newer players, or people trying their hand at support... the notion that some asshat will be begging 8 other players to punish you with reports cause theyre doing badly is probably enough to get people to play in other roles.
