Fail to lock in, thrown out of promotion and 38LP loss. Ragemuch.

So, I picked a champ, but was still wondering who to choose. At 5 seconds left (!!!!!!!) I was thrown out of the picking. I thought "Ok, somebody dodged". Somehow it turned out that it was I who dodged. I got the 5 minutes penalty, and the game had me lose MY LAST PROMOTION MATCH out of the 5 I needed to enter Silver finally. I obviously did not want to and did not dodge, yet I am forced to go back to 62 LP and the game took away my chance to go up. It wasted 4 hours of my time with making those 4 matches worthless.

Did the game always give you a loss for your first dodge? Why not just the penalty? I obviously did not want to dodge, I still had 5 seconds left to click lockin. Why do you do this RIOT?????

UPDATE: Now the game did not even show me the character select screen before "dodging" and forcing me on a 30 min ban AND taking 10 more LP. What is going on?
