Why do you give people such large queue times for dodging queues

I really feel like if I'm trying to climb out of silver and someone tries to go Ashe top and says I'm here to feed in the lobby that I'm definitely not the one that should be punished for not wanting to lose the LP I've fought so hard to get today. Why do you still heavily hurt someones queue times for dodging and not wanting to lose 22LP when I only get 17LP when I win? I understand you think people dodging is wasting others time but it's really not it's the only way you can avoid losing your hard earned LP. Please explain this to me.

Because the moment they did, people would just dodge until they got a comp they were ok with.

All they have to do is give you a limited amount of dodges, say 2 max. And you get a new dodge ever 3 hours or something. Sort of like rerolls in aram. You won't want to waste your precious dodges on something fickle like "ehh, this team isn't meta enough" or "ehh, this person only has a 51% winrate". You'll want to save your dodges for when you really need them. Like someone in lobby threatening to int feed.

for such reasons , reporting should be existing in champion select

Locks in Corki ADC

Enemy team locks in a normal ADC and not a mage/bruiser

Teammate dodges since Corki is countered by all ADCs

And yet sometimes it takes half a goddamn hour to start a solo q game for me because people won't stop dodging queue.

Don't want that to go up to a whole hour potentially. I have a feeling it's cause of autofill, so maybe remove that shit.

So people stop dodging. Sure, the odd troll in lobby is a pain, but youre not gunna get free dodges so when someone picks non fotm picks you just dodge.

Because when the penalty is lower, you get MORE lobby trolls like your Ashe, since more people are willing to dodge to avoid them, and they get the message that they commonly get what they want by trolling the lobby.

Add on to this that people rarely report lobby trolls after a dodge since it's more work (have to submit a ticket) whereas if the troll dodges no real harm is done and if they troll in game they're likely to get banned. If dodging penalties were lower (which they used to be) you'd get more trolls (can confirm, we did).
