IP Limitations

Now I do like IP and the ability to earn it an buy champions through games, but beyond champions and runes you can't really use it for anything. Now I've been on the boards before and I have a number of friends who play league with me, some of them have all the champs, some are missing only 1-4 of the most recent. But they still keep earning IP but beyond those new champions what use is the IP? If you have all the rune books you want, or even all the champs you want. I only have 24, after my recent purchase of Aurelion Sol...love that dragon...but it's not because I can't earn more IP to buy champs, I have no interest in any of them. I know that seems odd and it's not like I play the same champion every game...ALTHOUGH I do have a personal favorite of Cho'Gath. But really what do I do with the IP earned? I can't spend it on summoner icons, skins, ward skins, or hextech items. Honestly given the randomness of the hextech drops I think maybe 500 IP for a chest and key would be fair and give us something else to use our IP on, anyone else agree? Keep in mind this isn't about getting stuff for free, not entirely; it's about the limitations of IP.

the problem is you would devalue a lot of skins and other things because anyone can piss out 500 ip

I guess you could raise the price but then people will just complain

As for what ip can be used for after you own all the champs, perhaps adding an ip cost to non team summoner icons/ ward skins would be fine other than that i guess you could save it for the day one price of a new champ
