i dont really care about soft counters

but there have been quite a few champions that

with a rework or just 1 big change go from champion a champ my champion hardcounters, to a champion that hardcounters me.

i am going to use my main as an example becuase it is easily for me to demonstrate because i know the matchups best

in season 3 and 4 Nidalee hardcountered Gragas and Nunu

and later on that completely flip flopped as they became champions that hardcountered her

( i haven't tested her vs newnu yet)

other champions like Urgot she used to hardcounter becuase low large his hitbox was making it nigh impossible for him to dodge spears, his rework changed this

so to my question.. is this something u take into account when changing a champion? do u try to preserve their counters

even soft countersd are effected

Nidalee used to softcounter Akali becuase her traps gave true sight

during her rework that true sight was changed to normal sight so akali then softcountered nid but then was reverted to true sight 2 years later and added to her passive rateher than her traps, nid softcountered akali

then akai was reworked and nid can still reval her and pounce to her but cant actaully kill her becuase takedown as an empowered auto cant hit her so it flopped again

i know you clearly made the iteration that i could pounce to her still which im sure took specific coding to keep, so it SEEMS like you try to preserve at least SOME of it.

but it made me curoius
