The difference between solo and dynamic queue lies within the definition of ranked

The mass discontent seen between these two groups of players is essentially the definition of ranked. Dynamic queue players value teamwork and communication as a ranked set of skills. While Solo queue, it is their own set of skills and how it matches to other players. Either way it is upsetting that riot can't seem to see the value of of one definition and decides the other is how everyone should play.

Riot has always had their own vision for the game, which occasionally clashes with what the players want.

My favorite example is the Jungle role. Riot didn't initially want a jungler to be a thing, and it wasn't until late season 2/early season 3 (correct me if I'm wrong) that they officially started supporting it. People played junglers in spite of what Riot wanted until Riot finally gave in and decided it was a good change for their game.

Now, no Solo Queue player who is looking at things objectively is going to say that the idea behind Dynamic Queue is a bad one, and I think most Dynamic Queue players can easily admit that it Dynamic Queue missed the mark it was aiming for. If we, as a community, are stubborn enough we'll end up showing Riot the middle ground between these two queues. It may take years but we can get it done, and League will be the better for it.

We just need to get over the petty arguments and rage filled threads...

You're misrepresenting Dynamic Queue. Your definition is actually what team ranked players value. Dynamic Queue allows for both to coexist in the same queue in a much more balanced fashion than people will admit.
