Just don't touch Mana Regen anymore. Please.

Literally the only item left with good regen is ARDENT CENSER. A freakin support item. Unless you plan to hit that thing too, in which case, fuck it, why not??? Just get rid of all regular regen! Nerf it all down so mages constantly have to recall, and then their lane opponents can just take their towers with minimal effort- As if they don't already.

Seriously, what the hell is the direction of this update? I literally don't understand why it's necessary to touch regen when a LOT of mages already run out of mana in a couple rotations! Tacking on mana may give me another rotation, but after that it's the same shit. What's the point if it doesn't even accomplish anything??? Why nerf support items when you JUST FIXED THEM???? Were they nerfed so midlaners wouldn't take them? Which they're going to anyway, I don't doubt.

some items make sense or give interesting choices (Abyssal, new catalyst, even Athene's could be good) but then you strip multiple items of regen instead of adding on to the AP champs item pool to make it more interesting? What kind of bad design choice is that? Why does it seem like you're forcing mana champs to build mana instead of regen? That's just changing the items they build, that's not diversifying build paths. There needs to be A LOT more talk of the thought process behind big changes like this, and less 'just trust us and don't overreact it's fine', regardless of PBE testing (which, for the record, isn't exactly gold star worthy)

I doubt that they will nerf the support items. (maybe FQC if people start going back to that as a result.)

Riot intended for the mana regen to be more stat bound to supportive and utility play styles. So that in mind, they are not going to nerf the regen on support itemization.

Still, I think the maximum mana rout is going to be stronger than you give credit for. Especially with an item that refunds 25% of the mana spent, and a component that restores 20% of max on level. And if Riot does things right, those champs will get their kits changed to better support such builds.
