Can we just slowly nerf damage and see where it goes?
It doesnt have to happen all at once. Just slowly over time.
Maybe this patch,
loses 2 lethality,
loses 5 AP, and electrocute's damage goes from 50-220 to 40-200.
Then the next patch,
's passive goes from 200% base AD to 175% base AD, and
's passive damage goes from 60-140 to 50--130.
Then the next patch, all AD assasins lose 2-5 base AD in exchange for +0.2 armor and mr growth.
Then, perhaps all keystone's damage goes down by 10-25%.
's damage could get nerfed by 10 the next patch.
Then the next patch, we increase every champions' base hp by 10-30 (based on the champion.)
Next patch, everyone gains 5 base armor and mr.
And we just keep going on with the small changes until we think "this is enough". If you make one giant-ass change in a single patch, the game will break. If we do it slowly over time, the game will very slowly start being less damage-focused and strategy will come back.
