Weird Vel Koz strategy

Hello guys, Im plat I now and yesterday, i played Ahri on mid vs Vel Koz who had the Arclight skin, and he was doing something, i never saw in LoL before. When he used his W, he used his Q at the same time, yes thats normal, i do that with Ahri E and Q too, BUT because of the skin, both spells had very simular colours, the Q, was almost invisible inside the W. And i only knew that he used Q, because of the sound, not the visual effect. So, in other words, he hid one spell in the other. I cant think of any champ that can hide spells like this, Ahri Q and E have both different colours. I just wanted to share this experience with you guys.
