Did Riot remove all the promo protection?

I haven't read anywhere the changes done to ranked, so it came as a surprise that promos don't offer autofill protection. Also if you lose the promos now, it sets you back according to the amount of losses you had. So for example if I lost the first three matches of the promos, you lose 50 lp. Another thing is that you don't get a free win in the promos if you fail them either, so that's kinda weird, and I don't mind that one so much but the 50 lp thing is yikes.

Nothing has changed. Autofill protection is still there (I currently have it on promo), you have always lost the amount of LP you would have lost (so if you go 0-3 you can potentially lose 60LP+) and you still get a free win up to a rank limit (gold 1? i don't recall).

I've gotten the auto-win during my last promos. The LP loss is normal, its been that way since I've started playing back in season 6. I can't speak to the auto-fill protection because I'm a fill main.
