Minor tweaks and buffs for Rek'Sai
Hey, so I've come up with a few changes for Rek'Sai after reading lots of feedback from PBE and playing her myself since release, even though I love her kit as is. That said I still think she could use a small buff as she seems to lack something, somewhere. So I hope you'll enjoy what I've been thinking about and share your own thoughts. I'd enjoy playing Rek'Sai polished up in such a way even more...
Minor Tweaks:
Burrow gives 15 / 20 / 25 -> 15 / 25 / 30 flat movement speed. Tremor Sense range increased from 1300 -> 1350
The first minor buff makes burrowing more satisfying with a bit more movement speed scaling. The slight range buff on Tremor Sense would also cover the map a little more consistently and give Rek'Sai a bit more time to react.
Burrowed Q is a single-target spell, no longer applies AoE damage. Detects invisible targets and applies a vision bubble equal to burrowed vision range. AP scaling increased 1.0 -> 1.2
This second tweak makes AP itemization less of a trap - builds with Nashor's Tooth, Iceborn Gauntlet, Trinity Force, Abyssal Scepter, etc. Specifically this burrowed Q redesign works very well with Rylai's Crystal Scepter and makes it viable as a core item on Rek'Sai - even if you're building for full AD/Tank. In this new design, her Q gains a 35% slow and does 120 points of bonus magic damage, and she gets 400 bonus health from it. On top of all that would be the new vision mechanic that provides more satisfying information to the reader when successfully landing the skill shot.
**Tunnels are destroyed after standing on it for (1.5 -> 2) seconds. The player is revealed while destroying a tunnel. Reward increased to 15 gold. **
The third tweak is aimed at incorporating more risk vs. reward with the tunnelling system. The player is revealed to the enemy team for 2 seconds while destroying a tunnel, giving Rek'Sai more opportunity to notice assaults and react to defend her territory/network using her ultimate. This greater risk is offset by a greater reward, opening up a deeper level of choice and interaction within the system.
Well there you have it, tweaks 2 and 3 I'd really like to see, what do you guys think?
