I was plat back in season 3, and this is how I remember it. Since then I've been stuck in high silver/low gold, and have finally been able to climb back to plat level. After all the raging, trolling, and stupid nonsense in lower ratings, you finally get people who understand that being a total dick to your team leads to losing.

I'm at the point I don't have to /mute all immediately or try to play cheerleader and get people to stop trying to kill each other. I get that there will still be plenty of games involving trolling and raging, but you literally -never- see chat like in the picture in ranked until you hit a highish rating.
