Please riot, You have to sort out your ranking system. I played well in most my games apart from 2 maybe 3 where I fed, but still get placed in bronze 5. It shouldn't go on the win to loss ratio, because if you have an 0/9 who fed a yi you just cant do anything. Also my friend was in platinum 1 last season plays a games against platinum's this season and didn't feed one game but lost some and got place in gold 2. Please sort it out.
If you were shit last season it means you're gonna be shit this season too unless you decide to learn the game ^-^ It's based on both your last season ranking and MMR.
If you're not really b5 you will climb out no problem. I don't know why you are complaining. I only won 4 of my games and got placed b4, I am now bronze 1 and it only took 4 days to do it. The hard setback was a good thing because now people can't be carried out by higher elos too easily. The worst thing about silver 4-2 last season for me was soo many people where their that didn't deserve it. This hard setback put people in their rightful place. And if you are like me earing 30+ LP per win for the first 5 games or so then you will be able to get out because the system recognizes tht you don't really belong there. It's just a starting point to get your record going.
got placed in silver 4 and im in promos for silver 1 on my new account in 20 games without skipping a division. And a few of the games i have lost were unwinnable from an afk or a feeding un-helpable lane, you honestly cant win EVERY game. If youre not B5 you will demolish everyone in the division, trust me my friend is B3, hes awful.
