New Types of Champions

The past few new champions and many of the game play updates have drastically changed the game's meta over and over again. However all recently can be seen as to weaken the role of the ADC. Specifically with the juggernaut update and the recent new champs, the role of an ADC has become more of a secondary or even lower of a threat, with only a few still left who can significantly impact a game (Kalista Tristana Vayne Varus ). With the juggernaut update, Garen and Skarner can now 100-0 an ADC if they get a decent combo off without a problem (Garen can do over 1k true damage to the villain). Not that isn't a good thing that more tank champs can now fight decently without having to only be a damage sponge, but currently they lack a lot of possible oppositions in the role of ADC, there inverse role. I use to play a ton of Jinx, but now i find it difficult to play and carry with her unless i have a team of heavy cc champions to lock down the juggernauts. Since she has no escape and unless she gets her passive, she is slow and easy for the enemy to overpower if they get to her. Also since her ult was reworked with its short range damage. she cant use it to save her from a point blank juggernaut. My questions are, is the role of an ADC becoming obsolete? Is League of Legends progressing into a more tank heavy game where squishy champs are pointless to play? Could we maybe see a new type of ADC to re-balance the role?
