How do I get a jungler to come bot?

I feel as though I've missed a patch or two where dragon's effects are reversed or something, because I can keep my adc alive as long as I like, but being pushed up to tower all game isn't enough to get any attention on the lane that I thought was supposed to be important.

Several games in a row now have had the enemy bot lane ALL THE WAY up to tower, right in the prime double kill -> tower -> dragon zone, and the jungler instead camps top and doesn't even do a good job of that. If my lane gets to push forward even a little you can bet the enemy jungler is there for some reason. This is allegedly low gold. Is my logic off here? Is dragon just not important anymore? Is snowballing three champs instead of two suboptimal? Why the fuck does anyone care about top lane, they teleport out of there as often as possible for a reason

I know all about not blaming others but if I could secure dragons as Janna I would. It's happened so many times in a row lately that I'm beginning to get concerned. (And before you suggest "just be jungler", then I get three lanes pushing hard 24/7 and/or dying instead.)

Top lane is a safer gank since.it's 2v1 and most of the viable Junglers are tanks so they have an easier time dealing damage.

bot lane is 3v2, the fights are longer with more cc, and more easily countered due to support vision control.

if you want a bottom lane gank, double pink the lower bushes or top bushes so you can prevent warding. the less vision they have the easier it is to gank.particularly Junglers such as regards who utilize bush jumps and ambushes to do well for a gank

also, tell your jg that your lane is constantly being pushed in. You might want to let him/her know if flash is up too because that is key to a successful bot lane gank. a jungler is more likely to come down if the flashes are down.

Ganking bot, especially when it's already losing, is extremely risky.

  1. The enemy support likely is dominating vision, so it's probably warded.

  2. You probably don't have vision, so (s)he could get counterganked (Which would be disastrous)

  3. Instead of just being 1 behind ally and 1 average jungler versus 1 enemy who is ahead, as is the case with every other lane, it becomes TWO allies who are both behind plus the jungler versus TWO enemies that are ahead. It doubles the deficit, is my point.

  4. You're pushed back, so lane ganking isn't likely an option.

  5. If bot lane is already behind, it has to go through your jungler's mind that you may be behind because your enemies may be more skilled, and giving you an advantage won't change that fact. Meaning, the advantage (s)he gives by ganking may be thrown. This would effectively waste their time, so they may try to gank top/mid instead to try and make a lasting impact.

Understanding what the jungler is thinking can help you better understand why bot lane is being avoided. It could also be your jungler just isn't very good, and doesn't realize that there is a golden opportunity bot lane. It's perfectly possible you aren't being destroyed in lane, they just keep recklessly pushing and may be stronger early game.

If that's the case, you should probably explain to the jungler that they're pushed up and the opportunity is there; then, if it's possible to obtain vision control, do so. If not, warn them where the enemy ward(s) are (If possible) to improve your odds.

Sometimes they just won't listen but it's worth a shot.

Counterwarding is the best way I've seen. A jungler doesn't bother going bot unless they can catch the enemy team unaware. Unless your jungler has a massive movement steroid they can abuse to get in before the enemy can react, the enemy often just backs to tower, depriving the jungler of exp and gold, as he can't stay in lane without punishing his carry.

Get a good Singed in your top lane so the Jungler knows to ignore top.

Asking politely usually helps.

If it doesn't... well, shit. You tried at least. :/
