Some Vision On Ryze

I picked up ryze about 6 months ago and this is how I see his gameplay

His power spikes at reaching lvl 9 tremendously, When Q is maxed Ryze gets a 5 seconds window to weave his spells.....a good ryze will open with W or ULT and will get 3 Spell rotations (WQEQ) at least and a great ryze will get a 4th root which will drop the cd for Q and E to cast while his arcane mastery is down but these won't reset the cooldowns and count as 2 stacks for his next arcane mastery rotation Obviously thats 12-15 spells cast that Deal 50% AOE (Tons of damage) and no mater how weak his lvls 1 through 5 are they can't balance the huge spike from completing a rod and 400-500 stacks on his tear (A blue buff ensures a fully stacked tear) which is typically no later than level 9 and dueling him becomes impossible even if you won your lane against him, making him a ticking bomb that explodea by 15-20 min at start of midgame and does not fulfill the stacking fantasy for late game as imagined...further more he doesn't have a noticeable window of weakness that can be exploited because although he needs 5-7 seconds to stack up again,this window for counterplay can't be used by opponents because his first rotation of spells pretty much ended the fight.

However The suggested nerf can't be the solution because it reduces his his damage by 50-60% (5 spells with 2 counting as stacking spells) which outright cripples him and makes the 6 sec window too big because he can't deal enough damage or provide enough cc,and until he stacks up again which outright destroys his gameplay.

As a possible solution I thought of a passive which you might be able to tweak or consider and come up with a cool interaction:

The Idea is to make Ryze's ultimate available from level 1 and interacts with his passive as follows:

Passive: Each spell cast gives Ryze a stack of arcane mastery that last for X seconds. Max no. Of stacks is 4 (Increases by 1 at lvls 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 to a maximum of 12 stacks ),each spellcast gives 2 stacks at lvl 12 and 3 stacks at lvl 18 instead of 1

Ultimate: Expends all charges of his Arcane Mastery,giving Ryze a shield equal to X (multiplied by no. Of stacks and Level) (+X percent of his maximum mana) and each spellcast(up to a maximum which is equal to no. Of stacks) reduces the cooldown of his other spells by Overload's Cooldown (X seconds)...this effect ends if ryze doesn't cast a spell within 3 seconds and last for 6 seconds

Whether you keep the spell vamp and how much is up to you, you can also decide how scaling R affects the the ability or make it similar to Jayce's R in a way. Making the AOE scale with points in ult is also conaiderable

These are just some of my thoughts and I hope they are of some use at least for any possible reworks.
