4k Health full tank Cho'gath. Thought I was God... then got 1700 True Damage smited!

ok first of all, there are several abilities that directly can stop these ults. anything that grants invulnerability for one.

Kayle Tryndamere Zilean Kindred Taric ults

Zac passive Aatrox passive Anivia passive

sppellshields like Sivir e and Nocturne w

TahmKench can deny the ult with his w and absorb the damage, when he eats the targeted ally at the correct time.

stealth interrupts the animations Akali Khazix Talon Vayne Shaco MonkeyKing

then there are champions with clones that can juke them, champions with shields, champions with heals who can absorb the damage on themselves and their teammates.

then there are items and summoners that provide heals and shields.
