It's not about waiting for end of season so Riot bans all boosted accounts, it's about the toxicity and bad experience boosters create when they enter a game and make their lane opponent go 0/12 and have hes/her team rage and blame that player who has no idea hes lane opponent is a diamond-masters-challenger player.
