Champions to play in top lane ???
I am looking for a champion for a top lane which can avoid being ganked by junglers in the laning phase. I have tried darius but he gets ganked pretty hard, so is teemo. Some advice on the topic would be nice.

Illaoi. Pre-6 she's hard to gank when playing right, and once you reach lvl 6 it's not likely for anyone to try to gank you.
gnar, fiora, mordekaiser, shyvanna, renekton
pretty much midlaners except ad
dont play aggro and just farm passively, dont bother spending mana early because you can easily lifesteal/regen it during early levels. Just hang back and let the minions push to you.
Trundle. He can 1v1 anyone with his Ult. Buy pink wards to avoid ganks, use W to cancel out ganks as well.
Nautilus, Fizz, Ekko, and Lissandra can all bail out of gank attempts pretty easily.
Gnar, Illaoi, Sion, and Renekton can all potentially straight up kill the ganker if you ward and know they are coming.
Renekton, Rumble, Heimerdinger and Illaoi are a few good options. While you can gank them, they stand a pretty good chance of taking at least one of you with them (if not killing you both), especially after they hit 6.
kennen or jayce
You can still harass as darius without pushing incredibly hard. In any case, warding is good. If you dont want to be ganked you pretty much have to play a champion with no pushing power or gimp your playstyle when playing champions that do have pushing power.
Have map awareness and ward coverage in a way to help keep those bushes between mid and baron warded then the area between baron and the top turret warded gives enough information aside from in-lane ganks.
Also if you aren't facing a hard counter there shouldn't be any reason for a darius to die in a gank unless you were just the juiciest target known to man:
-Had no winion wave built up, stayed low on HP and over extended (If you do any 2 of these 3 you will die, darius low on hp but not doing the other 2 can somewhat deny a 2on1, having no winion wave built up will be the hardest to beat a 2v1 but possible, and over extended is probably surprisingly easiest)
-Your Q and E were down(Q might give sustain sure but E's interruption and light CC is invaluable to counter ganking solo)
-You were facing a hard counter like a gnar, or a melee who can duke it out with darius like illaoi, trundle, olaf (not jungle but in lane) for the jungler to "tip the scales"(I know it's not a super unique quote but holy crap I love emphasizing it lol) (Also ranged counters for darius make it easier for a jungler to enter the heat with darius....and on second thought "enter the heat" wasn't the right term...)
-You didn't watch your passive stacking(If a jungler tries to gank but you got 3-4 stacks on the enemy laner you have a larger comeback 2v1 chance than having no stacks
Honestly there's quite a lot of elements for a darius to turn around a 2v1 o_o
On a side note the champ you're looking for is gnar, jayce, and kennen, but still you need map awareness no champion is completely ungankable except for singed who goes to directly to you, if proxy singed is still a thing (havn't seen in awhile)
If your primary worry is being able to escape ganks, then you should probably just play ranged toplaners. Specifically Kennen, Jayce, and Gnar, all of whom have a secondary way of making distance from enemies besides their range.
The best way to get away from ganks however is just to stay map aware. Your champion selection won't always save you, so just pay attention to the map, don't push up when you don't know where their jungler is, and keep up some wards.
illaoi. she's gank proof.
Gnar
if you think theyre close just w+e+q and run away fast with a shield.
