Matched up against HIGH ELO players and getting rekkt

I've been playing league for years. Norms isn't fun anymore. I will constantly get matched up with HIGH ELO players like PLAT or DIAMOND and i'm in Bronze/Silver. Not sure what kind of analytics RIOT puts out there. One Plat player in game against or with bronze players is a almost guaranteed win/loss. It's bad enough playing against Challenger and Grand Master smurfs, which I'm constantly running into. Putting a high ELO player in a low ELO game is like putting Lebron James in a Junior Varsity basketball game. Is that a fair team???
