Just an idea. Would be appreciated if a balance team member would respond.

When Veigar received his compensation buff a fair amount of the community agrees that it was a significant nerf especially due to the current meta. As a somewhat veigar player I had an idea as how to fix the issue. I am not saying that the delay is unnecessary but late game when you want to combo somebody you can't. I propose the idea that for each point you put into veigar's e the lower the delay is until it has no delay at max rank. I feel instead of everybody complaining we should propose ideas. Again no hate just a suggestion. If you do not agree can you give a reason why it would be interesting to see it from the balance team's standpoint.

but thats the whole reason why the delay was added early game its not much of a problem but riot saw the issue that the stun was pretty much undodgeable if the veigar knew how to place it right and in the late game the stun is so long he can unleash his combo with 0 retaliation your change would just be a nerf to his early game while at the same time avoid the problem trying to be fixed what i think should happen is that the middle stuns like a leona ult while the other parts of it are a heavy slow and then they could reduce the range of the e this way, there is a counter play to the stun and it punished veigar for missing it and it will require him to get a tiny bit closer for his burst which seems pretty fair right?

But with this change, every level would slowly input the very reason why Riot made the changes in the first place. They wanted to smite Veigar because he could stop Flashy Mobility champions in their place.

Now on PBE, putting the ring ensures no dashers can escape.
