Can we see supports be changed to "support" more than marksmen

Almost every champ that is a support is geared towards supporting a marksmen. AD increasing sheilds, on-hit damage, heals are flat and not %HP, no AP increases, magic damage increases, Armor/mr increases (outside of windspeakers).

The closest support we have that helps tanks nearly as much as it does marksmen is taric, who's shield increases based on targets max health, his stun goes off of them, and his ult makes them immune to damage. Other than that, the supports who help non-marksmen are all cc/engage bots with no buffs.

Support items are all geared towards buffing/protecting marksmen and are far better at doing that than buffing/protecting other classes.
item 3504 - Useless unless its on an ADC (Outside of MasterYi...) item 3174 - Heal is flat health, shields mainly placed on ADCs in conjunction with ardent item 3109 - All about giving access to a melee to protect an ADC. Damage redistribution and healing received from damage target deals. Goes on ADC 100% of time item 3190 - This and mikaels are the most balanced to all classes, but a huge shield from a tank increasing temp health on a carry by 50% is better than shielding a tank for 10% of their health. item 3222 - Can be used on any class with equal power, but trying to land CC onto a ranged carry again is far easier than landing it on a fighter/juggernaut or tank. IMO, it should grant 1 sec CC immunity instead of slow resist when used on melee champ. item 3107 - Should heal for %max health of target. Its more useful for low health DPS classes than it is for anyone else item 3050 Similar to Knights Vow, except about damage rather than protection. They deal 50% more magic damage than their auto-attack would have dealt, and you slow around yourself, when they auto a target inside your storm, you deal AoE magic damage around you. Far more useful on ADC than on a mage or other fighter because of high auto damage.

All in all, we see that every "support" is geared towards helping ADCs and only ADCs, and their itemization is as well. Will we ever see supports diversified to helping other classes? Temporary % bonus armor/mr increases, temp % magic damage increase, AP buffs, Tenacity increasing shields/actives, % max health heals, etc
