You shouldn't be allowed to use a champion for the first times in ranked

Most people have the common sense to try a champion out a couple of times in normals before they bring them in to rank,

But how many times this has happened? People buy a champion and isntalock in ranked, thinking they are capable of using it, then feeding and basically condemning your team.

Shouldn't be there a rules that say "Before using this champion in ranked matches, try it at least 5 times in normal games"?

Slippery slope. Next you are gonna say I shouldn't be allowed to play champions with under 50% winrate in ranked, or that I am not allowed to break the meta in ranked. Kindly go step on a Lego barefoot.

Why? It's their choice and that wastes a lot of time for the player in question. Not only that, there are some naturally skilled players. Besides, I bet this is you just losing recently cause someone fed in a ranked game, but then you make it seem as if the whole world does it.

Sounds like another way of saying "my team is holding me back"

I really dont think this would do anything. someone who picks a champ they have never played in ranked would probably make other poor choices in game and so wouldnt make a huge difference.
