Why do I keep carrying and keep losing? (Garen) PLEASE HELP

I'm gonna do a process of elimination of things someone might say might contribute to my losses and maybe someone can help me.

  1. I always win lane. ALWAYS. If I ever loss lane, I don't remember because that's how OFTEN I win.
  2. I help the players. I gank mid, I gank bot, I help the jungler in jungle when he's getting attacked.
  3. I get turrets. Top turrets, mid turrets, bot turrets, all turrets, inhibitors.
  4. I splitpush
  5. I teamfight

I guess one can ask are you splitpushing and teamfighting at the right times? Well sometimes when I split push, my whole team gets destroyed. So I wonder what would happen if I was there? And either...they still die, or we're literally running in circles attacking each other here and there until someone makes a huge move. "You're Garen, you engage!" Ah but does my team always follow through? Of course not! So I either die or I get right back out, regenerate health and we're back at square one. And if I choose to go back and split push they can't survive or stall long enough for it to be efficient because instead of fighting under the turret, they chase the enemy team down, get CCed and boom all dead. And I think there's been times we won team fights and still lost. Now I'm not gonna go more into this because I've already made too many threads complaining about my teammates, and bitching isn't going to make them better, but this is just to show I'm in a lose lose situation no matter what I do.

  1. I 1 v 2, 1 v 3. Either my teammates don't take advantage of this and do something that's NOT getting an objective, or they come to help me in which I type in chat "I don't need help, go to {{insert lane}}." What do they? Come and help me anyway. And what sometimes happens? They go in and die, and I would've been perfectly fine without them. Even as Talon this happened. The fed Nasus, and some other champions (3) chased me through the jungle for a WHILE. It wasn't just like a few second chase. I mean this was going on for some time LOL, they were relentless on killing me. What did my teammates do? Nothing of course. After I typed in chat: "you guys should've got turret while they were chasing me."

So, overall, what I'm trying to say is that I have gotten fed as Garen VARIOUS times (huge leads, ie. Level 17 against Level 14 team), and have still lost no matter what I did. And I honestly don't know what else I can do anymore. Like I literally feel stuck, because its not like I'm going 6/7/8 saying "My teammates suck" when I never helped any of them. I'm going 10/4 consistently doing everything in my power to help everyone while winning my lane, and just can't ever close the win. Please help.

Garen's strong game is levels 11-16. Early game is actually weak. After 16, Garen falls off, but not a lot. Gathering Storm will help equalize that. You didn't mention playing the Villain mechanic at all. Not saying that you should always focus the Villain, but much of the time, the Villain will also be the enemy carry.

Until you notice that your teams are more reliable in teamfights, then maybe you have the right idea about prioritizing the split push. Consider making a Zz'rot Portal in the matches where the stats from that item would be appropriate. (If somebody else on your team ALSO makes one... well... there should be a high winrate in games where a team has two of these items in use...) (It's not thought of as a "Garen Item" these days, but you've tried everything else.)

MS is one of the most precious statistics in this game. (Along with Vision.) Complete your boots earlier, probably right after you finish your first item. The Deadman's Plate is great, but you still want your T2 Boots. You will be much more effective, with the MS, and there is a reason why almost all of Garen's recommended items come with some MS stat. I see some matches where you have three complete items, but you are still in your Uggs. (But in the rare very long game, you can sell your boots for a 6th item that provides some compensating MS.)

Because Garen is a lane bully who doesn't do much lategame. He can't get to his targets because he's a 100% melee, he can't really tank either because nobody tanks anyway with all the damage flying around. You actually have to make use of your lead to win the game, because if you don't you will get outscaled by the damage carries. Darius has similar issues.
