Ranked Decay in Preseason?

Hey guys, I got Platinum V again this season a couple weeks before the season reset. However, I got Platinum V last season as well so I already have the Platinum border on my champion profile and everything. Just recently, I was notified that I haven't been playing any ranked games and thus I'll begin losing LP and eventually drop divisions if I don't play another ranked. I just jumped into a flux queue and won a game but I noticed that that win went into my placement games and my Ranked Profile still says that I'm inactive at Platinum V. I want to ask if my Platinum V status will drop to Gold I because my ranked games are going into my placement matches and not my Platinum LP
