How to balance Annie without taking power from her

Seeing how Annie can zone you just from existing, makes me feeling she need some changes, and with the Worlds coming, i believe this is a suggestion Riot should use to improve the balance they are talking about.

Make her passive works as Ryze one: You have limited time to "stack each stack" and also a limited time on the last stack or it disipates (Annie's E can't recharge the final stack).

With this change I believe she can still zone you like before (in both mid or support role), but not in a opressive and "if you come you die are stunned", while give counter-play.

Annie Have a good day

The more I've thought about this the more I think a simple reduction in the range of Tibbers would make her more healthy.

E should STILL be able to get you your last stack, or you have then taken power from her.

Imo they should just make her stun only last a certain period of time. Like she gets her 4th stack and she has her stun up for X seconds and then her stacks restart. Kind of like tf pulling gold card.

Giving her Passive a timer wouldnt be bad, but it needs to be fairly long before disapearing, given how much she needs it to function properly, and her kit does have weaknesses.

imo, Annie's laning is annoying, but not necessarily broken (A bit on the toxic side, yes) and she does have her counters. If she is holding her Passive in lane, it means she cant last-hit at all, so she does pay something (Unlike Twisted Fate, who got to keep his Q and Ultimate for tele-ganks).

What makes her truly overboaring (In the correct situations) are her ability to charge her Stun and then sit in a brush bot lane forever, permanently zoning the enemy, as well as being able to fully charge her Stun in the later portions of the game and hold on it for the next team fight with zero issues.

Her point-n-click stun and burst remains as one of the best legitimate answers to hyper mobility, and she is still quite short ranged, so i have little issues with keeping those in the game, but her ability to hold on it for as long as she wants is a bit absurd, and makes her more overbearing Bot/Mid-Late Game than she probably should.

As long as they manage to add a timer that doesnt hurt her solo laning very much, Annie should be on a fair spot in both strength and healthy.

This is a gigantic nerf to a champion that is not in any way OP.

People build glass cannon against her then bitch about it. How about you build a BV or visage or at the very least, mercury treads?

I havent played annie in ranked for 2 seasons, but she is NOT op whatsoever. If anything she is weak, given how predictable her playstyle is and how short her range is.
