Not finding success with any champion

Summoners, I'm stressed. I've been playing this game for what must be over 4 years now - not only am I still trash, but I also haven't found a main, and that's really the purpose of this thread: what do I do if I'm trash at every single champion in the game.

That isn't to say I lose on every champion. But that's the second part of the problem, really. I win on the same champions anyone will win on: malphite, garen, annie, etc. The "beginner" champions designed to teach you the game, not as actual champions. The idea is you play these champions until you're good enough to play actual characters that take some level of skill - only, the minute I touch those characters, I get trashed. I don't want to win games with malphite or garen because I'm not the one winning, the champion is.

There really isn't a single play style, role or champion that meshes well with me. I'm not expecting instant success, but given I'm not new to the game, there should be someone I'm at least decent with, right? So then Is there just something wrong with me? I don't really get it. I'm honestly not even good with those free win champions. I miss malphite ults. I lose lane as Garen. I feed on the easiest champions in the game at a level where that should not be physically possible - so how am I meant to play any actual champions if I can't even play those?

There has to be a champion you enjoy playing. If you can't find one that's enjoyable to you then i would suggest quitting.

I suppose there are a few things i'd ask

What role do you play most often? What champions do you play most often in those roles? How many games have you played with those champions?

How invested in the game do you feel? Do you look up strats or combo's with champs? how often do you play?

You said you play for around 4 years but if you only play like twice a year then that means you are still technically a pretty new players. (just as a example)

Losing lane on Garen is for the most part the status quo. More so the higher up you go in the ranks, especially if you play him top.

The first thing I would recommend is to pick one champion you do feel comfortable with, and then one-trick it. But before you do that, pick a lane you feel comfortable with. Learn how to use that champion against everyone you encounter to whatever degree. The rest should fall into place.

Four years of playing and having a hard time with skill shots? Sounds to me like you may not be mastering champions first.

What is making me feel better at the game, to be honest, is playing a ton of ARAM. That might be the way to go.

I never get that. I been playing since season 5 and I've had 6 mains, all of which I played over 200 games on. How is it you haven't found a single champion you really enjoy? All my mains had that in common, I could play them for hundreds of games and not get bored.

Support... You dont care about farming and can play something very safe like Soraka or Sona. But are they fun to play? 😅

Have you tried Velkoz Support? 🤣

I am totally swapping from adc to support if I will not improve 🤔
