About the Kalista Nerfs on PBE

Alright, so I'm fairly new to Kalista. I tried her last week, and found that she really clicked with me, more than most other adcs. Similar to my top lane main Trundle, she doesn't have many damaging abilities, but her unique playstyle still allows for a lot of damage. Now, I get that certain aspects of her are annoying to face. Yeah, her E can do a shit ton of damage if left to stack. Yeah, she can rescue or engage with her support. I get it. But is this really a good idea? She already lost 10% AD on autos, boost on jumping backwards, and now they're making her E give NO MANA back for killing a minion, meaning you have to kill two with E if you don't want to run out of mana quickly. I just see this as a big middle finger to laning phase. I know already that I am not good at csing under tower with Kalista. Usually, however, I can use E to secure a few cs without depleting my mana bar too bad. And even when I'm not under tower, sometimes if the siege minion is being attacked by all of my minions, I'll E to ensure I get it (assuming my supp doesn't have relic, if he/she does then I just let them take it). Even as a Kalista player, I agree some parts of her need nerfs. But I don't think just flat-out nerfing E is cool either. Instead, why not nerf some other stuff? Maybe nerf W passive to be only 6% max hp or something. Or maybe nerf ult range and knockup time (a 2-second knockup on an adc is bound to be stupid, please nerf this). Hell, maybe even nerf a part of E, like maybe Kalista's spears just do less damage per spear in the target. But these nerfs aren't addressing her issues, in my opinion, which are insane E damage, kite, and ridiculous tank supp synergy with ult. This doesn't change any of those, but rather just nerfs the one thing I think is fine, which is her E use in laning phase. The 10% AD on autos nerfs and the jump nerfs make sense; they nerf the areas where she dominates. But she's already decently difficult to cs with if you're not used to her (my first few games with her had me averaging about 1 or 2 minions a wave... not a fun time), so these nerfs are a hard hit, at least for me.

Now, this is coming from someone who only started playing Kalista for a week (although I've played against her many times before), so I'm wondering for other opinions on this. Also, I really hope they make Runaan's Hurricane less clunky. Right now it's really weird because it only fires bolts at units in your range, meaning in teamfights it doesn't do shit unless you are somewhat close to multiple people, in which case you will probably end up being melted before you have a chance to do any damage.

So Right on So many levels. The issue isn't her mana return, it's the amount of free damage she gets from passive once she's got a little attack speed built, and the E stacking. Capping it at a damage near Twitch's e (actually above his e but close to it) would be a much more reasonable nerf while still giving her a huge damage ability if she stacks with runnans.

Infinite scaling was one of the things Riot's been trying to purge from league for a while, so why release a champ with it. :/
