Advice on dealing with a lost match out the gate?
(Heads-up!) This isn't me talking down on players, nor is this me being the toxic "omfg feeders are inters" kind of discussion. It is just a detailed question to attempt to replicate a theoretical scene in which I'd like to know how you'd handle this scenario in an actual match. You can't win em all...
I'm not talking about first blood before minions spawn (Although that could contribute to it, I don't judge that early on) I'm not talking about a player not getting into the game a few minutes late (also a factor with possibility to be factored in)
I'm talking about loading in as a jungler, your top lane is either countered, not as skilled, having a bad day, etc, and sitting under turret. They may constantly make attempts to be super aggressive seeing a small window of hope similar to that of playing an "easy" lotto ticket, only to come up with nothing (dying off again)
Players, & I were cool during the match. I prevented one person (The only one) from attempting to make me the goat.
Now it's normal for players to have any of the above listed instances or more affecting them that causes their lane loss, and I get it. I certainly don't believe in kicking a man while he's down ie: Player 1 "I suck" Player 2 "yeah you do" (This defeats the purpose of pointing out something they've already observed regardless of its facts, or fallacies, but I digress)
But as a player, what do you do as a jungler when every lane is pushed up under tower pinging for assists all at once? This isn't as simple as going to each lane one-by-one, and dealing with them slowly, because in this situation, going top, could mean the loss of both your adc, and supp, or mid, or whichever lane you don't visit in your choice.
What do you then do when a lane pings for assistance, but presses the enemy up on their turret, making "ganking" not as approachable? What if it's now "your" fault for choosing to dive the enemy under the adc's ping for a gank he stood back, and watched?
Well in my case, it was every lane needing help within close intervals of time. These intervals were so close it cut into the time I needed to farm, or, other important things. One would go in, I'd ward up for him, because even though they had wards, they wouldn't place them after asking them nicely: Me: "Issokei" Me: Wards top river bush in mid-lane "Ward the other bush, and play conservatively" they'd rush in regardless, and end up being eaten while I'm stopping darius from eating tryand top. The all in one package included: ironic anti-gank cooperation entire jg dependance over-extend on disadvantage low map awareness Witch-hunt Witch hunt, or "scapegoat" is when you blame someone else for something that's not their fault. (Not to say I believe I was 100% innocent. It was my team. MY, as in everyone sharing the loss together for our inability to deal with the enemy.)
It's even worse when the enemy progressively gets stronger, and your team as a whole just slowly climbs. And with Riot buffing income from things like 1/12, 0/9, etc, they give people incentive to kill players from playing team death-match of legends for easy gold. How do you get ahead in this situation?
tl;dr: You ever get into a match as jg, and there's that one lane just unable to bounce back, or do really anything including lane freeze? Now increase one lane to all lanes, them pinging you for help, them asking for ganks when they aren't gank ready, the entire enemy team collecting some core items, and essentials early on, and everyone's too passive, and won't follow up on a ping to go in on a gank, but rather sitting under turret to be safe (not gank ready). Plus enemy jg capitalized on the free money as well getting ahead of you, and invading without feeling too threatened.
What do you do?
Also adding that off meta, or odd-ball picks could cause this issue ie: Ziggs top, but against a Nocturne.
